Launch Your Career in Economic Data Analysis

The discipline of economics draws on history, philosophy, and mathematics, and has something to say about a list of topics including household spending, inflation, crime, and environmental issues. A thorough understanding of economic principles provides a student with an excellent foundation for a career in business, economics, government, or law. Opportunities for graduates are excellent. Employers value the problem-solving skills and the critical writing skills students develop in an economics curriculum. * The Bachelor of Science degree allows the student to complete a significant amount of coursework in the desired discipline while the Bachelor of Business Administration provides a broader education.

From Data to Information to Decisions

They formulate recommendations for pricing strategies, cost management, process flow, demand forecasting, and customer acquisition valuation. Graduates of this UT Arlington STEM program possess quantitative skills for data extraction and scraping, multivariate regression, A/B and diff-in-diff testing, survival and trend analysis, and demand modeling.
