Michael R. Ward has been at the university since 2002. He had previously been an Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Illinois (1995-2003) and served as a Staff Economist at the Federal Trade Commission (1991-1995). His research focuses on adoption and competition in high technology industries, especially telecommunications and pharmaceuticals.
