Dr. Shushanik Papanyan earned a Bachelor of Science in International Economics at Yerevan State University in Armenia, a Master of Arts in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Houston.  While completing her Ph.D., she was a teaching fellow at the University of Houston and adjunct faculty at Houston Baptist University.  Dr. Papanyan came to the Department of Economics in August 2005 as a Visiting Assistant Professor.  Her research interests include Time Series Econometrics, Applied Macroeconomics and International Economics.
