In September 1987, Mr. Don Blackburn joined The University of Texas at Arlington as a lecturer teaching Money and Banking, Micro- and Macroeconomics on a part-time basis.  Mr. Blackburn has a long history of  business consultant experience and accomplishments at La Quinta, American Airlines, AT & T, J.C. Penney, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.  He is co-author of a life and health insurance accounting textbook and instructor in business continuing education classes in accounting, economics, finance, insurance fundamentals, insurance law, mathematics and statistics.
